2 PM on Zoom
In MBTI® for the Soul (102A) we solidified the concepts of dominant & auxiliary preferences, and began to explore the roles our preferences play in everyday choices we make. We introduced the concepts of "either-or" vs "both-and thinking", and how "either-or thinking" and the false choices it engenders create barriers to spiritual growth, atonement, joy and love.
In this session, we take a deeper dive into the questions of true and false choices, studying how dominant and auxiliary functions have played out in the lives of iconic people of the past and present. (...read more)

We will address important questions:
With that foundation, we will work through some examples of “right-minded” typing. We will consider Tim Cook (CEO of Apple and really interesting guy) and two or more of Jesus' Apostles, with observations about Jesus himself.
Participants will learn:
I would see you as my friend,
that I may remember you are part of me,
and come to know myself. *
Intermediate students of psychological type are well-acquainted with the differences expressed in personality preferences. How is it possible for this knowledge of differences to bring us together and feed the soul? This workshop is the first of a series designed to explore that question.
Mutually Exclusive Choice: In this first session we will focus on a theme common across many spiritual study disciplines, business disciplines, political-social ideology, and central to type theory - the notion of mutually exclusive choice. We will learn how this kind of thinking can be transcended to facilitate healthier relationships between that which we call "self", "others", and "Source" (God, Spirit, Universe or Higher Power).
It's all the same thing.

Has there ever been a better time for exploring self? As COVID-19 has us confined to the company of self, roommates and (if we're lucky) loved ones - wouldn't this be a great time for exploring the gift of who you are and what makes you tick (not to mention, what makes others tick)?
I hope you will join us in this casual, fun introduction to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®, or “type” for short). This event is an open and interactive meeting for people who are new to type, for anyone who might be wondering what type has to offer, and for experienced "typies" too. It's a chance to ask questions, hear from others who've used type, find out why type is so powerful in building healthy relationships:
• at Work
• at Home
• in Holistic Health & Wellness
• in Community
• in Spiritual life
If you are a veteran typie, please come share your experiences and your wisdom. I hope you can make it – I can’t wait to meet you!
This is a virtual meeting on Zoom. To protect the security of the meeting and it's attendees, the meeting link will be provided via email when you submit your RSVP.
This introduction to the subject of typology is a wonderful subject for small and large business conferences, community groups, church and spiritual events and any team interested in pursuing teamwork excellence. Call or email to schedule a customized session for your group.

...The key, for many, lies in a better understanding of their own personality. But self-knowledge alone gives an incomplete answer. What about everybody else? What makes them tick? This dynamic workshop explores all of these questions through the lens of personality.
We all have preferred ways of thinking and doing. These ways of doing and thinking - personality preferences - work together dynamically, making up the unique personality that is you.
Knowledge of how this all works - where your preferences came from and how they operate in your life - holds great potential in your quest for fulfillment, peace, health and wellness.
Understanding your type can open the door to:
I created this workshop series to share the possibilities promised by the gift of your personality. This program is your space for personal discovery, access, & release of the energy that is uniquely you.
You will be led through 4-step process for opening your mind to new possibilities for physical, mindal and spiritual growth and for creating healthy, lasting change.
1. learn - personality type preferences to create a foundation for self-development
2. identify - validate your own personality type preferences (your MBTI® 4 letter code).
3. experience - how your type shows up in your life and how opposites appear in others.
4. create - put your personality to work for good in your life and the lives of others.
The Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI®) is based on Carl Jung’s theory of psychological types. Designed to identify a person’s personality preferences, the MBTI® is used by corporations, public sector organizations, universities, spiritual groups, counselors, coaches, therapists and millions of individuals, and is the most widely used instrument of its kind.
Next Open to Public Session Date TBD.
FAQs
I. Do I have to take the survey before class?
For the best experience, it is recommended that you complete the MBTI® instrument prior to class, but it is not required. There are two registration options:
II. Isn't MBTI® free on the internet?
No. Only copycats. Some are better than others, but none rival the quality of the real MBTI® and they are easily misused. The real MBTI® is statistically validated over tens of millions of applications and over more than fifty years of on-going research. It is continuously honed for quality and social relevance. As such, the Myers-Briggs company protects the product and allows access only through credentialed MBTI® practitioners such as Jansen Strategies. Practitioners are held to strict standards to ensure ethical use of the instrument.
III. How do I go about doing the MBTI®?
When you purchase both the workshop and the instrument, you will be provided a link (via email) to a private, secure website where you will verify your type preferences through a question and answer process. The multiple choice questions generally take about 20-30 minutes to complete, depending on the individual. Don't worry if you are not sure about the answer to some questions. The survey has been designed to handle this; it comes at your preferences from many different angles. Just relax and answer every question as best you can.
IV. Can I do all of this in a private session?
Of course! This is very common. For private sessions, click here.
